Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026. This policy explains how Forte Crest ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal data, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

Forte Crest is a web design agency based in Ireland. For the personal data described in this policy, Forte Crest is the data controller. Our registered business details and address will be published here on completion of company registration. You can contact us any time at privacy@fortecrest.ie.

What we collect and why

When you request a free demo or contact us

Through our contact form we collect your name, business name, trade, town, phone number, email and any details you choose to share. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry, build your demo and discuss our services.

Cookies & analytics

We keep tracking to a minimum. This website uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly, EU-hosted analytics tool that is cookieless and collects no personal data — it does not track you across sites or build a profile of you, so it needs no consent.

We do not currently set any non-essential or marketing cookies. Our consent banner is provided so that, if we ever add such cookies, they will only load after you opt in. You can review or withdraw any consent at any time using the Cookie settings link.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run our business — for example our form handler and email delivery provider — and only so they can process it on our instructions. Where a provider is outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, erase it, restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email privacy@fortecrest.ie and we'll respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).

Security

We protect your data with HTTPS encryption in transit, secure form handling with spam protection, access controls, and by limiting the data we collect in the first place.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
